Thugs Threaten To Kill INEC Officials In Ondo

Suspected political thugs have threatened to kill officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and volunteers who they find conducting the Ondo governorship election.
According to Daily Post, the suspected thugs put up threat messages in strategic locations around the state including the Ondo INEC office and NYSC orientation camp.
Reports say all the INEC officials and youth corps members who will conduct the governorship election are afraid.
This is coming as the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Ibrahim Idris on Tuesday, November 22, 2016, announced the deployment of 26,000 policemen, three helicopters, 12 Armoured Personnel Carriers (APCs) and 20 gunboats to Ondo state.
Meanwhile, the O’odua Renaissance Movement (ORM) has called on INEC to postpone the Ondo State governorship election slated for November 26, 2016.
Also, the Witches and Wizards Association of Nigeria (WITZAN) in Ondo reportedly predicted that the All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate, Rotimi Akeredolu will win the Ondo governorship election.
