It Doesn’t Stand For Afrobeat, It’s Not Afrobeat In Any Way; Seun Kuti Speaks On Nigerian Music [Watch Video]

Seun Kuti who is the child of multi-instrumentalist, performer, author and pioneer of the Afrobeat kind, Fela Kuti, has chosen to rebel against the endeavoring African sound marked "AfroBeat".

In a late meeting with Diddy's Revolt TV, Seun talks on the Nigerian music and portrays it as Pop music which has no linkage to afrobeat.

He said; "It's popular music. I don't think this is Afrobeat. It doesn't remain for Afrobeat. It's not Afrobeat at all, shape, or frame, as far as creation, as far as plan, as far as message. It's popular music." He additionally talks on the substance of his music and what rouses his verses.
