Adekunle Gold's Thank You Message To His Fans

Hello … The last thirty or so days have been amazing. I’ve had the time of my life and I could never have wished for another life at this point. When I set out to make the Gold Album, I desperately wanted to make good music - music that everyone would enjoy, music that was timeless, music that was clean. I knew that I was going to have to put in my best, and I was hoping for the best outcome. What I didn’t expect however, is the outpouring of love and support that I received from everyone.
In the last month, the #GoldAlbum has received massive airplay, great reviews from all quarters and a lot of love from social media. We also made it #7 on Billboard in the first week of release and shot the video for Ariwo ko. None of this could have happened if you didn’t believe in me. I’m grateful to Olamide for changing my story, putting me on a great platform (YBNL), grateful to everyone who has made this happen: God, my family, my team YBNL, the media (Radio, TV, Blogs, and Social Media), my management Red & Axla and very importantly, my fans. You all made this happen for me and for this I am indebted to you. Thank you for buying, thank you for listening, thank you for requesting, thank you for playing, thank you for putting the word out there. I could say thank you a million times and it still wouldn’t be enough. As we continue together on this journey, my most heartfelt prayer is that every single one of you feels the joy that I feel.
